North Macedonia's Kriva Palanka joins top of League standings

In North Macedonia, the women’s basketball team of Kriva Palanka last evening defeated Badel 64:58 in the final match of Round 6 of the First Women’s Sparkasse Life League. Quarter results: 20:11; 14:20; 16:12; 14:15.

The home team maintained the lead throughout the entire game, at one point reaching a double-digit advantage (32:21), while at the start of the second half Badel managed to come within just one point (38:37), CE Report quotes MIA.

The most efficient player of the match was Alexis Poole (Kriva Palanka) with 32 points and 11 rebounds.

With this victory, Kriva Palanka has joined reigning champion Basket Kam and Vardar at the top of the standings. All three teams now have 11 points, while Badel, after the defeat, stands in fourth place with 10 points.
