Dallas Mavericks' guard to miss season after knee surgery
Dallas Mavericks guard Dante Exum will undergo surgery that will end his season in the National Basketball Association, ESPN reported.
The Australian has not yet played this season due to an issue in his right knee, and according to the team’s medical staff, the injury requires another surgical procedure, CE Report quotes BTA.
Exum’s career has been marked by injuries that have caused him to miss long stretches of time.
In his two seasons with Dallas, he has averaged 8 points and 2.8 assists in his 75 NBA games for the team.
This summer, the 30-year-old signed a new one-year contract worth 3.3 million dollars with the Texas team.
