World vice-champion Lara Colturi is representing Albania at the Ski World Cup.
The Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Sports, Blendi Gonxhja, said that skier Colturi is an inspiring example for young Albanians, CE Report quotes ATA.
"With her excellent results and dedication to the sport, Lara Colturi is an inspiring example for young Albanians and a pride for the entire nation," Gonxhja emphasized in a social media post.
Lara Colturi will be one of four athletes to carry the red-and-black flag at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina, a historic participation that raises expectations for an Olympic medal for Albania.
