Juventus extends winless streak to seven matches
Juventus coach Igor Tudor expressed his disappointment after the team’s 1–0 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
The Italian side failed to capitalize on their chances at the Santiago Bernabéu, extending their winless streak to seven matches.
“I’m disappointed we didn’t get any points because we deserved at least one goal,” said Tudor after the match. “We had the right attitude and desire, but we lacked clarity in decisive moments.”
The only goal came in the 57th minute from Jude Bellingham, after an assist from Vinicius Jr. Real’s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois made several key saves to deny Juventus.
“The goal came from individual brilliance and a bit of luck,” Tudor added. “But that’s part of football.”
Despite the poor form, the Croatian coach remains optimistic:
“We’re on the right path. We need patience and belief.”
Juventus will aim to return to winning ways on Sunday against Lazio in Serie A, where they currently sit seventh in the table.
