Ben McLemore, who was found guilty in recent days of raping a 21-year-old woman at a party in 2021, has been sentenced to eight years in prison, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

McLemore had denied the allegations, saying the sexual relationship was consensual, but the court was not convinced by the 32-year-old former NBA player and former AEK player.

The 21-year-old claimed she woke up drunk after a party at the home of McLemore's former teammate Robert Covington and the 32-year-old raped her without her consent.

McLemore played for Turkish club Merkezefendi last season and played in the NBA for nine seasons, where he made 571 appearances.
