Kenan Yildiz Leads Juventus Past Wydad

Juventus claimed a 4–1 victory over Morocco’s Wydad at the Club World Cup on Sunday, led by a brilliant performance from 19-year-old Kenan Yildiz, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

The Group G clash in Philadelphia saw Juventus take an early lead when Yildiz’s shot deflected in off Wydad’s Ayoub Boutouil. Ten minutes later, Yildiz scored again with a clean finish.

Wydad responded in the 25th minute through Thembinkosi Lorch, but Yildiz struck once more in the second half to make it 3–1. Dusan Vlahovic converted a late penalty to secure the win.

Yildiz was named Player of the Match, helping Juventus advance to the next round.
