FC Barcelona Coaches to Train Youth at Kosova Camp

“Barça Academy Camp Kosova” returns this year as one of the most special initiatives for the sports and personal development of children in Kosovo and the region. The camp, which will be held at the end of May, brings official FC Barcelona coaches to share with participants the philosophy and methodology of one of the most famous football academies in the world, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

With a comprehensive approach that goes beyond the playing field, the camp aims to develop not only technical football skills, but also the character, self-confidence and social competences of children at a time when the challenges of the digital age are increasingly affecting the way we live and learn.

The Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, emphasized at a press conference that this event is an open door to new opportunities for the youth and talents of Kosovo.

"Barça Academy Camp Kosovo is an open door to new opportunities for our young people. Last year, you know that more than 300 from Kosovo participated, but not only, we also had guests from Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania who joined our children in this camp... The Barcelona methodology is well-known worldwide for its comprehensive approach, so it develops not only sports skills but also character, self-confidence, but also social skills of children that are of great importance for every young person today, especially in this time of digitalization when many children spend time on iPads, on iPhones, this is a wonderful opportunity for our children", emphasized Rama.

Meanwhile, the official representative of this camp, Armenda Filipaj, revealed details about the course that this camp will take. She announced that the best player of the camp will be invited by Barcelona to continue training.

"The official opening of the camp will take place on May 26th, where all registered children will receive their jerseys, schedules, and groups will be assigned. Then, on May 27th, the camp begins. We have two training schedules, since at that time the children will still be in school. We have made sure to have a morning shift from 8:30 to 11:30 and the other group from 16:00 to 19:00. So we will try to ensure that the children continue to prioritize school, but still not miss the opportunity to attend the camp. At the end of the camp, the best player will be chosen, just like last year, he will also be invited by Barcelona," Filipaj announced.

"Barça Academy Camp Kosova" is not just a training camp, but an investment in the future of children by offering them professional experience, personal development and a real opportunity to open the doors to big dreams.
