Germany, Portugal, France, and Spain have all secured their spots in the UEFA Nations League semifinals after dramatic quarterfinals, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

Portugal made a stunning comeback after losing 1-0 to Denmark in the first leg, winning 5-2 in extra time with Cristiano Ronaldo, Francisco Trincao, and Goncalo Ramos on the scoresheet.

Germany, having won 2-1 in the first leg, played out a 3-3 draw against Italy, securing their place in the semifinals to face Portugal.

Spain triumphed 5-4 in a penalty shootout after drawing 2-2 with the Netherlands over two legs, with extra time seeing both teams score once.

France, trailing 2-0 to Croatia after the first leg, won 2-0 in the return match. They prevailed 5-4 in a penalty shootout after extra time.

The semifinals will see Portugal face Germany and Spain take on France.
