U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Toiu held a phone call Thursday to discuss bilateral cooperation in defense, energy, and efforts to curb illegal migration, the U.S. Department of State said, CE Report quotes AGERPRES

Rubio emphasized the U.S. commitment to fair and balanced trade and welcomed Romania’s participation in the Electronic Nationality Verification program, according to spokesperson Tammy Bruce.
