Politics

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone call Tuesday with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss the Israel-Iran conflict, regional issues, and bilateral relations, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

Erdogan warned that Israel’s attacks on Iran could escalate violence across the region, which "cannot endure another war," according to Turkey's Communications Directorate.

He emphasized the need for diplomacy to end hostilities and called for renewed negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program. Erdogan also urged the international community not to lose sight of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, warning that neglecting it could endanger the West Bank and Eastern Jerusalem.
