Ella Langley leads 2026 CMA Awards nominations with nine
Ella Langley leads the nominations for the 2026 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards with a total of nine — just one short of the all-time record for the most nominations by a single artist in one year, held by Alan Jackson since 2002.
Miranda Lambert ranks second this year with seven nominations, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
The singer-songwriter is nominated in four categories, among others, for her work as a songwriter or producer on Ella Langley recordings.
Kacey Musgraves and Ben West are competing for awards in five categories, while Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and Stephen Wilson Jr. have four nominations each. Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs and Dave Clauss have three nominations each.
Among Langley’s nine nominations, her first-ever nomination for the CMA’s top prize, Entertainer of the Year, stands out, according to Variety.
According to Wikipedia, Elizabeth Camille Langley (born May 3, 1999) is an American singer-songwriter from Alabama. She is signed to Sony Music Nashville and Columbia Records.
Her debut studio album, Hungover (2024), produced breakthrough hits "You Look Like You Love Me" (with Riley Green) and "Weren't for the Wind", which both topped the Country Airplay chart.
Her second studio album, Dandelion (2026), debuted atop the Billboard 200 and was led by the single "Choosin' Texas", which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and made Langley the first female artist to simultaneously top the Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and Country Airplay charts.
