Bosnia unveils average monthly net salary

The average monthly net salary per employee for February 2026 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 1,643 KM.

This figure represents a nominal decrease of 1.7 percent and a real decrease of 2.0 percent compared to the previous month, CE Report informs via the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average paid net salary per employee for February 2026 is nominally higher by 7.7 percent, and in real terms higher by 4.5 percent.

The average monthly gross salary paid per employee for February 2026 in the Federation of BiH was 2,570 KM and is nominally lower by 1.7 percent, and in real terms lower by 2.0 percent compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average gross salary per employee for February 2026 is nominally higher by 8.0 percent, and in real terms higher by 4.7 percent.

In February 2026, the total number of employees in the Federation of BiH was 542,073. Compared to the previous month, the number of employees remained at the same level.
