New appointments at LVMH, which has chosen Amandine Ohayon as CEO of Givenchy, replacing Alessandro Valenti, who from January 12 will take up the role of deputy chief executive officer responsible for commercial activities at Christian Dior Couture.

Ohayon will report to Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of LVMH Fashion Group and Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton, CE Report quotes ANSA.

Sidney Toledano expressed his gratitude for Valenti’s significant contribution to Givenchy: “Alessandro has shown exceptional determination and efficiency in managing Givenchy’s transition phase. As a result, the company is now in an optimal position to leverage its reshaped organization, thereby facilitating future growth. I am very pleased to see Amandine join Givenchy and continue the development of this ambitious project, alongside Sarah Burton.”

As reported by CE Report, in his new role, Valenti will report to Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, deputy CEO of Christian Dior Couture, and will join the executive committee.

“I am confident that Alessandro will make a significant contribution to our retail and digital performance, thanks to his vision, his experience within the Group, and his ability to engage teams in addressing business challenges, at a particularly exciting and ambitious time for Christian Dior Couture,” said Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou.
