In Greece, the agricultural mobilizations continue on Thursday at the Nikaia blockade, where hundreds of tractors remain lined up at the junction of the Athens-Thessaloniki national road.

Vehicle traffic is being carried out via side roads, under the constant guidance and responsibility of the traffic police, in order to avoid delays and ensure the smooth flow of traffic around the blockade, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.

The presence of farmers is constant, with daily assemblies determining coordination and subsequent forms of action.

In parallel with the mobilizations in the Nikaia blockade, the Regional Council of Thessaly, in its meeting, issued a unanimous resolution of support for the farmers.

The resolution noted that the primary sector is a crucial pillar for the economy of Thessaly and for the social cohesion of the region.

The regional governor of Thessaly, Dimitris Kouretas, expressed his support for the farmers' struggle and placed the services of the Regional Authority and himself at their disposal, as long as their struggle lasts.

The farmers' demands remain constant and concern primarily the reduction of production costs, which - as they themselves emphasized - has made many farms unviable.

Karditsa and Trikala farmers remain at the blockades

Farmers of Karditsa and Trikala remain at the blockades set up on the E65 highway. The farmers announced that they will participate next Saturday in the gathering of the Panhellenic Committee of the blockades in Nikaia, Larissa, to coordinate their actions.

They are supported by labour unions, student and pension associations, organizations and associations, who are present at the site every day. The farmers announced that they are determined to continue and escalate their mobilizations, as they discuss and decide during the daily assemblies held at the blockade site.

Lamia: Farmers' protests escalate protests

Farmers in Lamia are determined to continue their protests, either blocking auxiliary roads or occupying toll booths and opening the barriers.

Today at noon, representatives from all the blocks of Central Greece, farmers and livestock breeders, have been invited to participate in talks to be held at the Central Greece Regional Council. The meeting is expected to focus on agricultural issues in general, the framework of the demands of the protesting farmers, as well as local issues, mainly infrastructure issues.

The Athens - Lamia national road remains blocked at 4 key points. At the Bralos junction, the Atalanti junction, the Kastro junction and the Thiva junction. At the same time, in Evia the number of blockade points has increased to three.

In Boeotia, the blockade in Schimatari remains, while in Phthiotis the farmers are still in Domokos, blocking the old national road as well as access to the E65.

Heraklion: Farmers' continue their mobilization

A small group of farmers from Heraklion, Rethymno and Lasithi, remained throughout the night outside the building of the decentralized administration of Crete in Heraklion. The farmers continue their mobilizations for the fourth day, while, as they have made known, developments regarding their next moves, as well as relevant decisions, are expected during the day.
