Greece launches urgent probe into airport “blackout”

An urgent preliminary examination into the "blackout" that occurred on Sunday at the Greek airports was ordered by the head of the First Instance Prosecutor's Office, Aristides Korias.

The Greek Prosecutor assigned the investigation to the Electronic Crime Department, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.

The aim is to determine whether the crime of dangerous interference with aircraft traffic has been committed and, if interference occurred on almost all frequencies of the Athens FIR, to identify its source.
