Discover Moldova with #MOLDPRES: Causeni Church included in national tourist network

After a long process of restoration, in optimal conditions of display, according to international standards of conservation and protection of historical monuments, the Church Adormirea Maicii Domnului in Causeni was reopened to the public and included in the national tourist network, CE Report quotes Moldpres

The conservation and restoration project of the Church, in the custody of the National Art Museum of Moldova, was coordinated by the Centre for Archaeological Research of the Republic of Moldova, and was carried out with the financial support of the US Embassy in the Republic of Moldova, granted from the US Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Safeguarding. At the same time, the works of infrastructure, systematization and arrangement of the related land, as well as the reconstruction of auxiliary spaces and installation of engineering systems were coordinated by the National Art Museum of Moldova, financially supported by the state budget.
