Microsoft Proposes Commitments to EU to Resolve Antitrust Probe over Teams Integration, CE Report quotes ANSA.

Microsoft has proposed commitments to the European Commission to resolve the antitrust investigation concerning the bundling of its communication platform Teams with its business suites Office 365 and Microsoft 365, such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.

The company will offer these suites without Teams at reduced prices, allow changes to existing contracts, improve interoperability for competitors with other Microsoft products, and allow customers to transfer data out of Teams to make it easier to use competing solutions.

The European Commission has therefore invited interested parties to submit comments on these commitments.
