UEFA fines Lech Poznan over “Kosovo is Serbia” banner
The Polish team Lech Poznań has once again been sanctioned by UEFA following violations identified during the Champions League qualifying match against Crvena Zvezda.
UEFA’s Appeals Committee has decided to fine the Polish club for several irregularities that occurred during the third Champions League qualifying round. According to the ruling, Lech Poznań was fined €10,000 for displaying a provocative banner reading “Kosovo is Serbia” during the first leg of the tie, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

In total, for various breaches of UEFA regulations during this encounter, the Polish club has been fined €48,000.
