Bulgarian race car driver Nikola Tsolov will make his Formula 2 debut before the end of the season, taking part in the last two rounds of the 2025 season in Qatar and Abu Dhabi, his team Campos Racing said.

Tsolov will remain with Campos Racing in 2026, with whom he competed in the last two seasons of Formula 3, finishing the 2025 campaign as runner-up, CE Report quotes BTA.

Back in September, the 18-year-old was confirmed to continue his career in Formula 2 after three seasons in Formula 3.

The driver commented: "I have a lot to learn in these last two weekends of the season. It is mainly about procedures - stopping in the pit lane, returning to the track with cold tyres, working with brakes, which are different from those in Formula 3. These [in Qatar and Abu Dhabi] are two tracks I do not know, and I am sure it will be very interesting. I am motivated to perform well and achieve good results, but I do not have high expectations."

The Formula 2 season ends with four races - one main race and one sprint in Qatar and Abu Dhabi, taking place on November 29 and 30 and on December 6 and 7.
