
Kosovo's Trepça loses second FIBA Europe Cup match
The basketball team Trepça suffered a 70–84 home defeat tonight against the German side Braunschweig in their second FIBA Europe Cup match, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
The Mitrovica-based “Miners” started well, leading 18–14 after the first quarter. However, Braunschweig dominated the second quarter, turning the score in their favor 34–32 at halftime.
The third quarter was closely contested, but the visitors maintained a slim 58–56 lead. In the final quarter, Braunschweig pulled away, finishing the game with a 14-point victory (84–70).
