FIFA President to visit Kosovo

FIFA President Gianni Infantino will visit Kosovo on October 9, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

On this occasion, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, will award Infantino in a formal ceremony.

This was announced by the Office of the President of Kosovo, which also invited sports journalists to cover the event.

Kosovo Football Federation (FFK) President Agim Ademi thanked President Osmani for the recognition, writing that “this high institutional act is a testament to the respect the Republic of Kosovo has for Mr. Infantino’s role and contribution as FIFA President, in developing our football and promoting the country on the international stage.”

Ademi added, “Decorating President Infantino is a recognition that goes beyond the individual. It is also an honor for the entire football community in Kosovo and for all those who have contributed to this long and glorious journey.”
