Kosovo’s Alley Oop tournament hits eight cities

For the second consecutive year, the Kosovo Basketball Federation (FBK) is organizing the Alley Oop tournaments, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

The first competition, just like last year, was held in the capital city, Prishtina.

Five teams participated in the event. The tournament began with group-stage matches, followed by two semifinals and the final.

In the final, after some exciting games, Prishtina faced Mjeshtrat, and once again, Prishtina won in the capital with a score of 21–16.

This year’s Alley Oop tournament will be held in eight cities across Kosovo, making the 3x3 basketball format even more widespread—one of the main goals of the Kosovo Basketball Federation.

The sporting journey will conclude with a final tournament in Prishtina, where the winners from all cities will compete to represent their city for the championship title.
