The Slovenian women's basketball team was defeated by hosts Italy 66:77.

The game took place on Thursday evening in Bologna, CE Report quotes STA.

It was the second match of the preliminary round in Group B of EuroBasket.

With this loss, Slovenia squandered all chances of advancing to the quarter-finals of the tournament.
