UEFA Conference League: Vllaznia, Partizani learn rivals

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) held the draw for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, in which three Albanian teams are participating: Partizani, Vllaznia, and Dinamo.

The draw determined the opponents for Albania’s runner-up Vllaznia and Partizani, which finished among the top four in the Superliga. The "Red and Blues" (Vllaznia) will face the Latvian team BFC Daugavpils. The first leg is scheduled to be played with the Shkodra side as hosts, while the return match will take place in Latvia, CE Report quotes ATA.

Partizani will play against the Estonian team Nõmme Kalju. The first match will be played away for the "Bulls," with the qualification to be decided in the return leg in Albania.

Dinamo, which also finished among the top four in the league like Partizani, will begin its journey from the second qualifying round. This was decided by UEFA after Drogheda United was excluded from the tournament due to a breach of dual ownership rules.

According to the pre-set schedule, the first-leg matches will be played on July 10, while the return legs are set for July 17.
