EU police support project delegation visits Bosnia’s Central Bosnia Canton
A delegation of the project “Support to European Union Police Agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina – EUPA4BiH”, led by Project Director Hans van den Berg, visited the premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Central Bosnia Canton in Travnik.
Representing the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Central Bosnia Canton (MUP SBK/KSB) were Police Commissioner Ibrahim Klisura, Head of the Uniformed Police Sector Adi Bohotinski, Head of the Professional Standards Unit Anđelka Cvitan, the Special Police Unit Commander, the Head of the Economic Crime and Corruption Unit, as well as other senior police officials, CE Report informs via the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Central Bosnia Canton's official website.
The meeting focused on continued cooperation, the current priorities of the MUP SBK/KSB Police Administration and planned EUPA4BiH activities. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening the operational and professional capacities of police officers through practical and specialised training, as well as improving inter-institutional cooperation in line with European standards.
Police Commissioner Ibrahim Klisura thanked the EUPA4BiH delegation for its support to date, stressing the importance of joint activities in further improving the work of MUP SBK/KSB police officers. The meeting confirmed the parties’ shared commitment to continuing their successful partnership.
