Slovakia voices support for BiH’s European integration

The Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Czech Republic, Martina Mlinarević, met in Bratislava with the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini.

The meeting took place as part of the New Year’s reception of the diplomatic corps, CE Report quotes FENA.

During the talks, the exceptionally good and friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Slovak Republic were reaffirmed.

The two sides expressed their mutual readiness to further strengthen political, economic and institutional cooperation, with special emphasis on partnership relations and support for the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the countries of the Western Balkans.

President Pellegrini reiterated Slovakia’s commitment to enhancing its existing projects and activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as his wish to pay an official visit to the country in the near future.

The meeting was held in an open and constructive atmosphere, and President Pellegrini also outlined Slovakia’s foreign policy priorities for this year, with a significant focus on the Western Balkan countries.
