Madonna urges humanitarian access to Gaza on social media
Pop star Madonna made an appeal on X (formerly Twitter) to Pope Leo XIV, urging him to "go to Gaza to bring his light to the children before it’s too late," CE Report quotes ANSA.
"As a mother, I can’t bear to see their suffering," said the Queen of Pop.
Madonna emphasized that "he is the only one who cannot be denied entry" into the Gaza Strip.
"Humanitarian access must be fully opened to save these innocent children. There is no more time. Please, say you will go," she pleaded.
In her post, Madonna clarified:
"I am not pointing fingers, I’m not blaming anyone, I’m not taking sides. Everyone is suffering. I am simply doing everything I can to prevent these children from starving."
She also urged her followers to donate to the Israeli NGO Women Wage Peace and to World Central Kitchen, and to share her message.
