EU Enlargement Key to Europe's Security

EU enlargement is the best investment for a secure and prosperous Europe, Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean stated at a joint press conference with Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas, who is visiting Moldova, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Both leaders emphasized the need for a just peace in Ukraine and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the country against Russian aggression.

“Lithuania has always supported Moldova’s European path and stood with Ukraine from day one,” Recean said.

Paluckas stressed the importance of democratic unity against totalitarian regimes, stating that lasting peace in Ukraine is essential and that Europe cannot be complete without Moldova, Ukraine, and the Western Balkans.

He also highlighted Lithuania’s continued support for Moldova’s EU accession and ongoing assistance efforts.
