
Moldova Opens New Embassy in Kazakhstan

Ambassador Gorda highlighted the opening of the new diplomatic mission as a sign of Moldova’s commitment to strengthening ties with Kazakhstan. The two officials discussed deepening cooperation in trade, energy, education, and cultural exchanges, as well as promoting regional peace and stability through joint efforts in international organizations.
Deputy Minister Bakaev reaffirmed Kazakhstan's support for Moldova, emphasizing the growth of political and economic dialogue between the two nations. The conversation also touched on Moldova’s European integration and regional cooperation priorities.
The new embassy, approved by Moldova’s government last summer and operational since January, aims to enhance trade relations, with Moldova's exports to Kazakhstan growing by 44% in 2023.
