Andrea Bocelli, Jennifer Hudson team up for ‘Maserati: The Brothers’

Andrea Bocelli will lend his voice to “Maserati: The Brothers,” the new international film dedicated to the history of the Maserati family.

The Italian tenor will join Jennifer Hudson to perform “One Right Here,” an original song that will accompany the film’s closing credits. The track, available for pre-save from September 15, was composed by legendary songwriter Diane Warren, CE Report quotes ANSA.

The Italian adaptation was written by Marco Guazzone and Alessandra Flora.

Produced by Andrea Iervolino and directed by Oscar winner Bobby Moresco, “Maserati: The Brothers” tells the story of the family that transformed an Italian dream into one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands, exploring themes of passion, ingenuity, determination and innovation.

The film brings together a high-profile international cast, including two-time Oscar winner Sir Anthony Hopkins, Al Pacino, Andy Garcia, Jessica Alba, Michele Morrone and Salvatore Esposito, alongside an international ensemble.

Bocelli’s involvement marks a key element of a project conceived as a tribute to Italy and its achievements. His performance of Warren’s original composition, alongside Hudson, will accompany the film’s closing moments.

The collaboration, conceived and developed by Iervolino together with Veronica Berti and Francesco Pasquero, brings together three internationally renowned music figures for the first time to create the film’s musical theme.

“Maserati: The Brothers” is set for a major international theatrical release.

“I wrote the song thinking about Andrea Bocelli. It has always been a dream of mine to have Andrea sing one of my songs, and when he was interested, it was incredible,” Warren said.

“Then I thought, what if we got Jennifer Hudson involved? They come from two very different musical worlds, but together they created a world of beauty. The result was even better than I imagined, and I truly believe this is one of the best songs — and one of the best melodies — I have ever written.”

Explaining the inspiration behind “One Right Here,” Warren said the song is about having someone who remains by your side through everything.

“It could be a friend, someone you love or a family member. I wanted the song to be connected to the family and relationships portrayed in the film, but also to go beyond that. We all want someone in our lives who will be there for us, no matter what happens,” she said.

Iervolino said that every aspect of a film telling such an important story had to live up to its legacy, adding that music has the ability to turn an emotion into a lasting memory.

“Having Andrea Bocelli and Jennifer Hudson together on the same song is a dream come true,” he said.
