Kim Kardashian defends daughter amid online criticism
North West, the 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has drawn public attention.
In a post on her TikTok account, she showed off an extravagant fashion accessory: a custom-made diamond “grill” resembling shark teeth, created by the famous jeweler Johnny Dang, reports the Daily Mail, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
In the video, North confidently poses with the diamond-studded dental accessory, while her turquoise-colored hair— which has been her signature look for some time — further accentuates the overall appearance, reports KosovaPress.
The comments were harsh, and many once again attacked Kim Kardashian for allowing a 12-year-old girl to be publicly exposed.
“Now it seems they’ve figured out how to attract attention. That’s probably why she’s allowed to do this,” wrote one user. “She’s only 12, oh my God,” “This is not normal,” “Why aren’t social services responding?” were among the comments.
North recently caused significant controversy when she showed off her bleached eyebrows, and even then a debate began about where the line should be drawn.
“There is no way a 12-year-old should have bleached eyebrows and nails like that!” wrote one social media commenter.
As reported by CE Report, Kim Kardashian has consistently defended her daughter and her choices. In a recent episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, she explained that North is extremely mature in some ways.
“She’s very mature and can say, ‘Mom, I saw that and I don’t care if they don’t like my blonde hair or this or that.’ She’s very confident.”
The reality TV star added that she wishes people online were more understanding of her parenting, as she has raised four children largely on her own since her separation from Kanye West.
