Kim Kardashian opens up about divorce from Kanye West
Kim Kardashian has openly discussed the reasons behind her split from Kanye West, nearly three years after their divorce, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, she said that her ex-husband’s mental health struggles significantly affected their marriage.
“I didn’t feel good when he spoke badly about my family. If someone feels that way, we shouldn't be together,” she said.
Kim recalled a time when Kanye, during a bipolar episode, bought and then gave away five Lamborghinis, adding that she felt a lack of emotional and financial stability.
She admitted that it was hard to stay with someone who wasn't willing to make healthy changes.
“When you have kids, it's harder to leave than to stay,” she said, but added that she eventually realized she had to make serious decisions, according to E! News.
“I had to save myself to be a better mother for everyone,” she concluded, saying her children will understand her decision when they grow up.
