Valentino Names Riccardo Bellini as New CEO
Fashion house Valentino has appointed Riccardo Bellini as its new CEO, effective September 1, replacing Jacopo Venturini, who resigned on August 14, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
“With Riccardo’s appointment, we are accelerating Valentino’s development. I recognize his extensive luxury experience, strategic capabilities, and proven leadership, which—together with Alessandro Michele’s strong creative vision—will lead the House forward and strengthen its unique identity,” said Rachid Mohamed Rachid, president of Valentino, on LinkedIn.
“I’m honored to join Valentino, an iconic house that combines extraordinary heritage and craftsmanship with a unique creative voice. I look forward to working with Alessandro Michele and Valentino’s exceptional teams to celebrate the House’s timeless values and write its next chapter,” said Bellini.
Bellini previously served as CEO of Maison Margiela and Chloé, and held senior commercial and marketing roles at Diesel and Procter & Gamble. Most recently, he was CEO of the Qatari fund Mayhoola, which owns 70% of the Italian fashion house.
