Albania, North Macedonia reinforce collaboration on public sector audits
The Chairman of the Supreme State Audit (KLSH) of Albania, Arben Shehu, held a working meeting with the Auditor General of the State Audit Office of North Macedonia, Maksim Acevski, who was accompanied by the institution’s official delegation.
The delegation included the Deputy Auditor General, Orhan Ademi, advisor Tanja Janevska, and auditor Hristina Dabeska, CE Report quotes ATA.
During the meeting, Shehu and Acevski assessed the existing cooperation between the two supreme audit institutions, emphasizing the importance of strengthening partnership and professional exchange.
Both leaders highlighted that parallel audits remain one of the most effective forms of collaboration, as they address topics of high public sensitivity and have a direct impact on the functioning of institutions and services for citizens.
Representatives of KLSH and the State Audit Office of North Macedonia expressed their commitment to continuing and expanding joint projects, aiming to increase transparency and accountability in public administration.
