War in Ukraine

"Our armed forces have lost not a single populated settlement in Kharkiv region," Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, spoke about the situation in Kharkiv region during the United News nationwide telethon.

According to him, the Russians very actively spread fakes that they allegedly captured some territories in Kharkiv region. But all these reports are false.

"All attempts by the Russians to assault our positions are repelled fiercely, the occupiers suffer significant losses and return to their previous positions," he added.

The governor noted that the evacuation of people from dangerous communities was ongoing as the enemy was constantly shelling civilians having no success at the front.

"Over the past day, another 45 people were taken out, including five children and 26 women. A total of 601 people, including 153 children, have been evacuated since August 9," Syniehubov informed.

He noted that the elimination of the consequences of the shelling of the center of Kupyansk had already been completed. Currently, the repairs are ongoing in the left bank part of the town. Electricity and gas supply will be restored soon.

As reported, as a result of Russian strikes on Kharkiv region, Kupyansk was left without gas supply, Vovchansk – without electricity supply.
