Greece almost declared bankruptcy in 2015 because at some point the prevalent idea was that money was plentiful and "we could promise everyone everything, without any costing - and citizens believed it," Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Thursday in Pyrgos, western Greece, referring to the main opposition party, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

"We will never, ever, return to those times," Mitsotakis told the public during a tour of the city.
