Mitsotakis at Ukraine Summit, Reforms Unveiled
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is participating in the 4th Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit today at the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis announced, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
At a press briefing, Marinakis also highlighted a new Road Traffic Code set for a parliamentary vote, aimed at curbing dangerous driving. The revised code includes stricter penalties for repeat and serious offenders, especially those involved in accidents, with the goal of enhancing safety for all road users.
Additionally, Marinakis reported a 145% rise in new applications to the out-of-court debt settlement mechanism, totaling 10,870 in May.
He also announced the nationwide rollout of home delivery for EOPYY high-cost medicines starting June 16, expanding a pilot program to benefit all eligible patients.
