SYRIZA Leader Stresses Need for Fair Solution to Cyprus Issue, Calls for Closer Greece-Cyprus Cooperation

Sokratis Famellos, leader of the opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, emphasized the importance of a viable and just resolution to the Cyprus issue, rooted in UN Security Council Resolutions. During meetings with prominent Cypriot leaders, including Archbishop Georgios, DIKO leader Nikolas Papadopoulos, EDEK leader Marinos Sizopoulos, and Green Party leader George Perdikes, Famellos reiterated the necessity of a fair solution, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
